Terms of Service

Early access: GSE Tracker is currently in early access. These terms apply during the early-access period and may be updated before the public launch. We will notify users of any material changes.

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using GSE Tracker ("the Service", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement.

2. Description of the Service

GSE Tracker is a portfolio tracking and market intelligence tool built for the Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE). It provides:

  • Live and historical GSE stock prices.
  • Portfolio tracking: you enter your holdings manually and the Service calculates their current value, gains, and losses.
  • Price and volume alerts delivered by push notification, email, or SMS.
  • Plain-language market summaries and insights.

The Service is currently in early access. Features, pricing, and availability may change.

3. Not investment advice

Market data and any insights provided by GSE Tracker are for information purposes only. Nothing on GSE Tracker constitutes investment advice, a recommendation to buy or sell any security, or financial planning guidance of any kind. You are solely responsible for your own investment decisions. Before making any investment decision, consult a qualified financial adviser who understands your personal circumstances.

GSE Tracker helps you track and understand the Ghana Stock Exchange. It does not tell you what to buy, sell, or hold.

4. Data accuracy

Market data on the Service is provided "as is". We source price data from publicly available market feeds and strive to present it accurately. However, we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or fitness for purpose of any data, and we are not liable for any losses or damages arising from reliance on it.

Data may be delayed, temporarily unavailable, or contain errors. Do not use GSE Tracker as the sole or primary basis for any financial decision.

5. Independence from the Ghana Stock Exchange

GSE Tracker is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, licensed by, or operated by the Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) or any of its subsidiaries or affiliates. Any reference to "GSE" or "Ghana Stock Exchange" refers to the exchange itself as the subject of the market data we display, not to a business relationship between us.

6. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. Do not share your password. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

Portfolio data you enter (holdings, quantities, purchase prices) is provided by you. We do not connect to brokerage accounts or hold any trading credentials. You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter.

Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you believe your account has been compromised.

7. Acceptable use

You may use the Service for lawful, personal purposes. You agree not to:

  • Access the Service by automated means (scraping, bots) without our written permission.
  • Use the Service to distribute misleading or unlawful financial information.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or its infrastructure.
  • Interfere with the Service or its users.
  • Use the Service in any way that violates applicable law.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe these conditions have been violated.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, GSE Tracker and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, arising out of or related to your use of the Service, including losses resulting from reliance on market data or insights provided by the Service.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising under these terms will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or GHS 100, whichever is greater.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of liability for certain damages. In those cases, our liability is limited to the minimum extent permitted by law.

9. Intellectual property

The Service, its design, software, and original content are owned by GSE Tracker and its operators. Market data displayed by the Service reflects publicly available information from the Ghana Stock Exchange and related sources.

Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of any intellectual property to you.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify account users by email and post a notice on the site. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Because the Service is in early access, terms are more likely to evolve as the product matures.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ghana.
